It’s all circular.
So I was reading Mr. Nelson’s blog today and it reminded me how circular it all is.
Mr. Nelson is very excited to work out of home. That’s pretty much the way it started with his company (which was started with the current owner and myself). We couldn’t afford office space, so we used the internet (pretty radical in 2002) to do all our communicating. IM, e-mail and video confrencing. I hosted the server out of my office at home, and it worked quite well. Looks like they might be going back to that. Dunno, I’m out of the loop nowdays. It’s been over a year since I left.
And Areabassist’s blog today was about gigs now being like they were years back. Again, circular.
I watched Transformers Animated tonight with my boys, the nods to the original series are staggering.
I stayed late at work today again. It’s partially retail. Alot of the other techs hide in back, but I love customer interactions. Even the stupid iPod questions are okay. It reminds me of working at the Best Buy tech bench in 1995.
Hopefully it’s not like those silly Robert Jordan books. Hmm, probably not. He’s dead. He never finished the series. Not so much of a wheel there then.
